Pitch fees must be paid for 48 hours in advance, failure to do so may result in your pitch being offered to someone else.
If you wish to cancel please give us 48 hours notice where possible, this gives us time to amend our social media and allocate the pitch to another trader.
Cancellations are only refunded at the management team's discretion.
As we are a small team of volunteers, please ensure you take all rubbish with you unless you have booked a refuse sack at a cost of £2.50 per bag. Any rubbish left behind will be added to your account.
Parking for traders isn’t guaranteed, priority will be given to blue badge holders.
Lighting is provided with your pitch fee, any additional power supply must be arranged at point of booking at cost.
Traders must be ready to trade 15 minutes prior to opening times.
No vehicle movement is allowed 15 minutes before opening and likewise until the advertised closing time of the market ie Saturday 10am open so no movement after 9.45. Closing time 4pm no movement until after due to safety reasons.
Traders are required to stay open for the duration of market hours or at the management teams discretion.
We are a dog and family friendly market and welcome traders to bring their well behaved dogs and kids with them to work but must be supervised at all times. Although no vehicle movement is allowed when the market is trading, sometimes it is necessary to move vehicles, also the area at the back of the market next to smith at is shared space with the gym and cars may come in and out of the smith at gate even when the market is trading.

Any traders bringing dogs must make sure they have enough water, shade in hot weather and must not be kept in a car on hot days.
We cannot promise or reserve the same pitch for any one trader.
Traders must remain respectful that we are in a residential area and keep noise to a minimum.

Traders and their guests must not swear or use offensive language that may cause offence.
And finally, traders are reminded that they have chosen to trade at Chap Market where your fellow traders are great people here to create an amazing market and the customers are lovely too, be nice and smile. It costs nothing. Have a lovely time trading with us!
